Questions & answers
What it is, whether it's free, why it's built around IKEA, and how the furniture gets into your room.
Yes, for one project with up to 5 placed items, a screenshot export and a watermarked PDF. Pro is a $9 one-time license: unlimited projects and items, PDF floor plan without watermark, and an IKEA shopping list with article numbers, quantities, prices and total. No account; the key arrives by email and works on 5 devices.
No. The planner and the Pro license both work without one. Your project autosaves in your browser and the license key is stored there too. You only sign in if you want cloud sync across devices or a share link.
IKEA publishes a 3D model on each product page, so a pasted IKEA link imports the real model at true size. Other stores don't publish models, so their links import as a box at the listed dimensions. The box still answers the fit question, but the room only looks like the room with IKEA products.
Prices come from the store you pick in settings, suggested from your location. The 3D model is the same everywhere, so the fit check doesn't depend on the store.
That's the point. You draw your real room at true measurements, any wall angle, real wall thickness, your actual ceiling height, and place products at true size, so you can see whether a piece fits and how much space it leaves before you buy.
Paste an IKEA product page URL and the 3D model drops into your room at true size. The Model Importer Chrome extension also lets you capture a product straight from the page while you shop.
It runs in any modern browser, but it's designed for a desktop or laptop with a mouse and a big screen, where drawing precise plans and arranging 3D furniture is much easier. There's no app to install.
Yes. Sign in and turn a project into a private, read-only link that anyone can open in their browser to orbit the 3D room. Shared views carry a small "Made with" badge.

Not today. Shopping-list links go straight to the retailer's product page, untracked. If we ever add affiliate links, the list will say so next to them. Nothing in the planner depends on it.
Your project autosaves in your own browser, and you can export the whole thing as a single file you own. If you sign in, cloud projects are stored in your account. A shared link is read-only and only reachable by its private address. Details in the privacy policy and terms.
Free exports a screenshot and a watermarked PDF. Pro exports the floor plan as a PDF without watermark and the IKEA shopping list. Every plan exports the whole project as a single file you own.
No. The planner runs entirely in your browser. There's an optional Model Importer Chrome extension that adds a button to capture products while you shop, but it isn't required.
