No. You can use the whole planner without signing in; your project autosaves in your browser. You only sign in if you want to save projects to the cloud, use them across devices, or share a proposal with a client.

That's the point. You draw your real room at true measurements — any wall angle, real wall thickness, your actual ceiling height — and place furniture at true size, so you can see whether a piece fits and how much space it leaves before you buy.

Paste a product page URL and the retailer's own 3D model drops into your room at true size. If the store hasn't published a model, you get an exact-dimension stand-in instead. A browser extension, Model Importer, also lets you capture a product straight from the page while you shop.

Any store with normal product pages works for dimensions and details. Retailers that publish 3D models — IKEA, for example — bring in a full textured model; otherwise you get a true-size box, so the fit question is answered either way.
