The terms, in plain language.

The Good Room Planner is a browser tool for drawing a room to real measurements and placing furniture in it at true size. It is made and run by a sole operator based in Portugal, reachable at support@thegoodroomplanner.com. The planner is free within the limits shown on the Pro page; Pro is a one-time paid license.

When you paste a product link or use the extension, the product's public page data (name, dimensions, price, article number, 3D model) is fetched from the retailer at your request and shown to you only. Model files are stored in your own browser. We do not redistribute, sell, or keep a library of retailer models or product data, and we do not store model files on our servers.

The retailer owns its product pages, models and trademarks. IKEA is a trademark of Inter IKEA Systems B.V. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by IKEA; the name is used only to say which store's products work here.

Your plans stay on your device unless you sign in and turn on cloud sync, in which case we store the plan data (not the model files) so it can follow you across devices and power share links you create. The plans are yours. You may not use the service to store or share content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.

Pro is a single $9 purchase for personal use, sold through Polar as merchant of record. You receive a license key by email and may activate it on up to 5 devices. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase through Polar. Keys may be revoked for abuse: sharing a key publicly, reselling it, or using it to run automated fetching. If we retire the service, activated keys keep working offline for as long as the app runs in your browser.

There are none today. Shopping-list links point to the retailer's own pages and change nothing about the price you pay. If affiliate links are ever added, they will be disclosed on the list and here.

If you own content that you believe the service fetches or displays in a way that infringes your rights, write to support@thegoodroomplanner.com with the URLs concerned. We will reply and act within a few days, and can switch off fetching for a given site on request.

The service is provided as is. Dimensions and prices are read from retailer pages at import time and can be wrong or out of date; check them before you buy. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as a piece that does not fit or a purchase made on the strength of a plan.

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and disputes go to the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to the consumer protections of the country you live in.
